Try browsing on private. This has sometimes happened to me when looking through twitter for work (on a desktop, not mobile app) when not logged in and I found that using private browsing got round it. Didn’t happen every time but sometimes.

    Short answer: No
    Long answer: No, we weren't
Very long answer: No, we weren't in the Slack with Exlax where he decided to do this and nobody dared suggest that this is an actual example of Twitter having an elitist outlook, as opposed to celebrities being verified to avoid impersonation which the tax-dodging ****wit accused of being "elitist" back before he was having to have a member of his own security pretend to be stalking him as an excuse to ban the guy who was posting where his private jet was

Update on Exlax's latest stupid ****ing idea: there's the suggestion it's to stop AI companies using tweets to train their language models, with the billionaire manchild kvetching a few months ago that OpenAI weren't paying enough go use their data - and he has been pissing and moaning about OpenAI browsing Twitter using the ChatGPT plugin, presumably as ChatGPT keeps suggesting people who pay for Twitter are only capable of two conversations: billionaire dickriding, or demanding the mass extermination of trans people

That doesn't explain blocking searches a few months ago, though

Or the mass blocking of feeds like PossumEveryHour for "botting" when the sex bots, who are the actual bot menace, are not only rampant but apparently don't violate Twitter's community standards

Or why the new Twitter CEO has apparently not shown up for work even once

Interesting from a sw bod perspective to see how
Twitter are responding to any inevitable attempts
    to bypass this.

So on day 1, there have been obvious "law of
unintended consequences" effects of "embedding" /
linking to Twitter posts. So putting in this :

    twitter.com/SpursOfficial/status/1675074376348184577

yesterday would have triggered a redirect to a login screen.

Today it puts up the page as if it is an erroneous url
( the "Something went wrong. Try reloading." text( .

I wonder what day N will be when someone announces
the equivalent of Gab "dissenter" to thwart them. :)

For large chunks of yesterday, Twitter's logout screen wasn't working

It's almost as if Exlax's "genius" idea to stop ChatGPT mining tweets for their speech programs was implemented without putting any thought or foresight to it...

By complete coincidence, the last 15-20 minutes has seen every user go from being "rate limited" if they so much as breathe in the direction of their feed to their feeds crapping out

Pretty sure I could do a better job of running the platform at this point

That was traditional media who did that, not social media

Just getting that out there before the BBC blame social media for the next month as if they haven't been responding to Murdoch's Hate Comic all ****ing week...

Tea time today my 2yr old grand daughter was helping me water the garden, I pointed to a plant that had its leaf chewed and she said it was most likely a giraffe, oh those pesky giraffes wandering into my back garden from the serengeti plains of Hertfordshire....

One cheque from the club should solve this

or a few players dipping into their pockets

as much as I commend the everyday man doing these things…I think it’s disgusting that they need to in the first place in the world of Premier league football of which we are a top 6 club and amongst the richest in the world
