Surely a loan back isn't realistic? They rarely happen at all but when they do its usually teenagers who are clearly being signed as one for the future. Greaves is 22 now so surely no one is going to want to sign him just to loan him out.
Plus why would Greaves agree to it? If he’s made the decision to move on, he wants to leave the club & area. He wants fully out
Depends who it is I guess and how they view him. Surely Roma would view him as a development signing. A team like Brentford would have him straight in
Agree, if we don’t sign a defensive midfielder, Simons partnering Seri or Slater is a must for me. He’s strong, athletic and doesn’t shirk a tackle.
Found a Tan interview from yesterday in Turkish. He was asked how many more transfers would he make. Here is the transcript pushed through Google Translate. How many more transfers are you going to make and how are you? Maybe you will let us know. I don't know, you know. I always do things in interviews, I try to be as sincere as possible, and sometimes I try to talk about these funny topics. He's doing something because there have been cases where I gave his name at the end of the interview when I said I wouldn't name the actor. before All of this is an experience, inevitably Now the transfer is of course the most curious, the most exciting football team. that we are constantly waiting for our fans in England, as well as the Turkish audience. very important for them to understand where you were taking this project Yes We bought porridge in my solder from Manchester city on loan, I especially draw under it Manchester City Apart from their own club, they have 6-7 clubs of their own in various parts of the world. The player does not share. Well, it's very clear that our president is on the network. Pick the bones out of that one.
Seri seems to becoming a liability in terms of taking the ball of a defender just outside of the penalty box and then losing it. He seems to gift the opposition one or two of these each game.
He doesn’t half get shafted with some **** passes though. Ingram and McLoughlin gave him so absolute hospital passes yesterday
This is an unpopular opinion but I think we’ll see less of him this season compared to last. I don’t think it’s a given that he will be one of the first names on the team sheet despite being the most gifted player in the squad. It will probably be a case of Rosenior preparing for a life without Seri and blooding the likes of Simons. I wouldn’t be surprised if Simons and Slater become the starting midfielders at some point in the season with Seri being more a bench player.
I’ve forgotten the name of that old poster on here that used to post, usually to new posters, a reply that made no sense at all, it always gave me a chuckle when they tried to make out what he was talking about. Whatever happened to him?
Okay, so we don’t have to sell unless we want players better than Donny rejects and loans. Much better.
Kinda typical you focus on the one unknown who won't be on high wages. The rest have all shown something either at this level or equivalent.
Unpopular opinion but I honestly think we look so much more likely to score and less likely to concede when Seri is out of the side and Tufan is in it. On Seri, he's got the ability, but it seems so rare that he looks to make a forward pass, let alone a cutting one. Seems to prefer the backwards/sideways pass every time, even when he's not receiving it from the keeper. It just kills the forward momentum we're supposed to be trying for when trying to beat their press. I don't rate his set pieces either and find him fairly immobile - I'll bet he covers a lot less ground than Tufan who people can't wait to dive in on about his weight etc.
I agree with much of this Benjo... if we had someone to step into his shoes, I think as a club i'd be hoping for offers... high wage and perhaps recoup some of the fee. But its an if... I dont agree with the last point, no one has a go at Tufan weight anymore, rather accepting thats just the way he's built... fans favourite...
