re the thread jumping about, I've seen it on other threads too but always put it down to twitter posts taking a long time to load up, ie it goes to the last unread post first but each time an earlier twitter picture loads it pushes the screen content down to accomodate it. There are lots of twitter pics on this thread...

If you click the title of the thread on the main page, it takes you to the last thing you read up to. If you click a page number, it takes you to the top of the page.

I always click the dot by the thread title, and get to the last post, except for this one. Today it always opens at post #8.

Possibly the most pointless Twitter commentary ever - 'The Tigers draw themselves level as Trialist E wins the ball down the left wing. He plays it into Trialist G who passes into the feet of Trialist B to place his finish into the bottom corner!'

I was there today to watch this along with about ten other City fans.. The result was about right and Scarbourgh won it with a worldie late on, the lad who scored will probably never score a goal like it again if he plays until he is 100. Cannot say a lot about Citys team because it was made up of trialists. Stood with the dad of Citys new keeper, a Hull lad who joined us from Scunthorpe, proper City fan who said his son and he are delighted he has signed for City, which was nice. Smart little ground is the Flamingo park stadium with a crowd of 571 in today, artificial turf too. Beer £2.50 a pint and you could carry it and drink it whilst stood watching the game. Met a couple of Scarbourgh living City fans who showed us the ropes and where to go for a drink, and they pointed us to a few lovelly little bars that you would never find yourselves. So loved that. There was a march or stand off in Scarboro today between 'far' right wing and 'far' left wing protestors, not that they bothtered us, so police everywhere except at the football, which made a change, so a good day out and great that football is back.

Mostly micropubs. One across the road from the theatre, just across from the railway station, google it, another maybe Purcies? Another old time boozer just along from that one and a one old pub in the middle of some lovely Victorian houses on a the walk to the ground, and there were at least a couple more along the way. I've been to scarboro countless times I didn't know any of these pubs.
