    If we have a problem with Connolly being a 'bit of a sh*gger', we would lose our minds if we signed Mendy who reckons he's bedded 10,000 women in his time.

    His claim of 10k women is definitely b*llocks though as someone on Twitter worked out it would be something like 3 women a day, every day since he was 17.

    Absolute privilege to have witnessed him playing at KC, though by then was cameos.
    I remember his last ever appearance vs Burnley. He ran them absolutely ragged first half. Probably the best individual 45 minutes of football I have ever seen live. By then the ref had reduced Burnley to nine players, and in an attempt to even things up, sent him off for a head butt which no one else saw (or all before half time). It was the first time he was ever sent off in his career, in what proved to be his final game.
    Have I got my facts right, or has my dementia kicked in?

    Folan was sent off at 70mins, then Caldwell at 71mins, then Okocha on 76 mins and finally Gudjonsson on 77mins (two yellows), a mad seven minutes.

    He made one appearance after than Burnley game, against Colchester, but only came on in the 89th minute for a final cameo.

    Still think we should have given him one more year.

    Yeah.. remember it well. Old mother Riley was the ref. He had to stick his massive conk in when a game of football threatened to break out...The numpty completely spoiled a decent game.

    I thought it was for jumping with his arm raised, booked. Next time he jumped for the ball, same thing, same result, and sent off. Or was that someone else?

    Just looked it up and you are absolutely right. I could have sworn their sending offs were first. Incidentally, one of our TWO subs was Tyler. I can’t recall a player of that name as part of the promotion winning squad?
