Always thought that Lavia or JWP would leave first. Maybe this is why we were able to bring Shea in so quickly as we knew Diallo was offski.
With Diallo off and presumably both Lavia and JWP as well then our CM is looking very bare. Charles and Smallbone and that’s it? Probably need at least 2 more
We have Alcaraz as one of those 8/10s RM likes to play. Personally we need one more 6 and another 8/10. Personally Doyle could do a job there to., Aswell as Stuey/Aribo if needs be.
Aribo I was hoping we'd never see that lazy **** again. It he's starting games next season we're in big trouble. Maybe we should tell Liverpool they can have 10mil off the Lavia price if they take Aribo too?
https://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/f...d-Prowse-look-reinvest-Declan-Rice-money.html Players who I think will definitely go & Approx fees (imho):- LAVIA - £40 Million JWP - £30 Million ABK - £20 Million KWP - £12 Million PERRAUD - £10 Million SALISU - £8 Million TALL PAUL - £6 Million S ARMSTRONG - £5 Million DIALLO - £4 Million ORSIC - £4 MILLION CALETA CAR - £5 Million APPROX- £150 MILLION ISH Possibilities:- ADAMS - £15 Million TELLA - £15 Million LYANCO - £5 Million MCARTHY - £5 Million ARIBO - £5 Million
£12 for KWP is selling him way too cheap IMO, he's been on the fringes of the England squad and has been our top performer since he came here.
As I said early in this thread, I thought we would bring in £150m-£200m this summer and our success will be based on the quality of our recruitment. Good start and the academy lads certainly impressed against Benfica
And I think some fans expectations of transfer fees are way to unrealistic. Adams, Salisu, Diallo and S Armstrong have 1 year left on contracts. KWP, Tella, Perraud, Lyanco and McCarthy have 2 years. Some the club would want to move on for the salaries alone. Guess we’ll all find out over the coming weeks.
Agree. It’s a horrible indictment of our squad last season, but we will be glad to see many players go.
His share turned out to be remarkably small and nowhere near £12.7m worth in my opinion EDIT: He was a bit opposite to the Romans What did Diallo do for us? He was lightweight, couldn’t tackle, couldn’t pass, but he could run around a bit
I think what is happening now proves many of us right in our belief the playing squad was easily good enough to stay in the Premiership but the complete mismanagement from top to bottom led to the squad totally underperforming
Exactly. I could give the parts of a Ferrari to a back street garage to turn into a car, or give it to a Ferrari mechanic. One would definitely produce a nice smooth sounding sports car, whilst the other would only with a lot of luck.
