So many media mupppets coming out and trying to destabilise Lavia and begging him to throw his toys out of the pram. Grow up Liverpool.
What’s the sell on? How much more would we actually get by selling him for £50m minus the sell on, than City’s £40m buy back next summer (if they were to trigger it ofc).
Think I heard it was 20% so £50m gets us the £40m we would get from City (assuming if City did buy him for £40m then the sell on is scrapped
I know I’m in the minority but I always liked Diallo. Played in the right role as a DM who harasses/wins the ball back I think he was good. Very limited on the ball though I’m guessing we aren’t getting a big fee despite it being a Qatari club
Diallo was likeable enough but pretty forgettable. At least the fact he's going to Qatar means we are shedding the entire salary (you would presume).
Pretty stoked to see him moving on. Did the grand sun of F all for his whole stay here. He’s a model example of the problem the squad has had. Average players with no ability to affect the game positively.
Occasional bright moment. I remember 4-1 against Brentford at home season before last he was really good. But, generally he was a liability. Absolutely shocking passing, and just seemed to need too long on the ball whenever he got it. And he didn't have the strength to shield it like Romeu. Sure he's a nice lad, but seemed too quiet, and from a DM you need someone more vocal and aggressive
Bit harsh. He seemed a lot happier when we had 3 in midfield as he is a bit lightweight. But he had his share of good games. But I'm not exactly gutted he's moving on.
Good news to wake up to. Started promising, had a few bright moments early on but ultimately a disappointing and forgettable player to be honest.
