I think Hirst was vital in how we played in that awesome run towards the end of last season, if we sign him or a striker of a similar ilk and we can start from where we finished honestly who knows, we'd need a lot of luck but it wouldn't shock me if we were in promotion contention. The form we were in and the quality of our play at the end of last season I'm sure we could've beaten some lower end PL teams. I would be slightly disappointed if we were bottom half next season but progress is progress and as long as we can see that, I'm just happy to be out of League 1 and hope it stays that way for the foreseeable
With 2 or 3 decent signings, we should be top 10 imo and anything less would be a bit disappointing. I can see us spending about 5 million on top of the Taylor signing and I think if you are spending that kind of money, you will expect to be top 10. A top half finish would be ok but a bottom half would be pretty gutting tbh. Agree with the fact that a double over the sister shaggers would make a bottom half finish less upsetting!!
My heart says Town all the way to the Prem but my head says thats very unlikely,but as long as we get a steady progression in improvement i think its quite possible for Town to get to the Prem especially with the attitude / finances of our owners eventually, so i think a mid table position would be acceptable and anything above that would be a bonus, and just as importantly our Club has come back to life after so many years of neglect and disinterest from our previous owner, the atmosphere at PR was terrific last season and away tickets allocations were sold out and thats worth celebrating in my book.

Fantastic,really pleased with that.Great price,it keeps the team spirit going from last Season and whilst he's missed part of pre-Season there will be no "gelling" period as he knows exactly what's expected of him.
Great news regarding the Hirst signing. Apparently an initial fee of £1.5 million reported, potentially doubled if we get promotion/number of goals he scores. Got to say that’s a steal in this market!

Superb signing, now we've got Hirst in I'm pretty content with the team as it is and confident enough that I don't think we'll struggle next season. Anymore signings improving the quality or competition of what we've got will be a bonus now.

Omari Hutchinson is close to joining town on loan from Chelsea and we are still interested in getting rak-saki in on loan, obviously it will be one or tother. I know nothing about Hutchinson, so if anyone has seen him play...please shed some light!!
