I have been given some old magazines and papers from 73-74 about the lads and the cup win. Would love to share a few photos, but no idea how! Any instructions - make them simple - I am useless at this sort of thing. Also mods, merge away if there is a thread for this stuff already.
Definitely worth a thread of its own mate imo. I'll dig out my 1973 final programme and post a few pages.
Losing track now lads. Hope that is all of them. I have been helping an old boy not far from me, a complete football nut and a Derby supporter since the 50s. Some cracking stories to tell. He showed me what can only be described as an Aladins cave (or fire hazard) of old footy papers amd magazine. I am helping him auction off his Saturday night footy papers from the 50s to the 90s as I have a mate in the memorabilia business. Few other rare Derby things as well. At least one item is being bought by the club. The old boy needs a few quid but is in tears to see stuff go. My mate is looking after him re percentages. He gave me these as a thanks. Every single page is being framed at the weekend and will hang in my own personal office, which is a shrine to all things Sunderland - signed shirts, old roker paintings, 73 programme, Monty autograph, Kieran Brady signed pic plus other stuff.
