It's his money, that he and his exec wife got loads of from people forced to pay the license fee to the bastions of morality.
In fairness DMD... whilst I appreciate that... he did his job and did it well. The fact we shouldn't pay a licence fee and the BBC should fund from advertising is totally separate. The fact he's a public figure is where the tower come crashing down... Not condoning at all same as the nonce on ITV... but he/ they must have big issues to think that at some stage it want going to come to light.

I think there would be less objections to the licence fee if so many individuals weren't receiving so much money for what is a relatively easy job. This is especially so when some of them go on to abuse their public status to moralise and preach.

Don't buy The Sun.
I'm pleased to say that I have never ever purchased a copy of that Haddock sheet. I've not even looked at it again after what they printed about the Liverpool fans at Hillsborough...
eg. 'Fans stealing from the dead and dying.'....'Fans urinating on coppers'
Outrageous claims...Kelvin McKenzie should have been put away for 20 years.

Hopefully he's seen the last of his £550k per annum pay-cheques...The dirty Bastard!
..... likely to be replaced by someone else being paid (nearly said 'earning') such an obscene tax payer funded salary.
Having said that, maybe a bit ironic when our sport is football?!? But at least those salaries don't come from the tax payer.

Huw Edwards... so what... its his money... move on!!

I'm reminded, not for the first time, of the quote attributed to many but which I always associate with that old goat Kingsley Amis; the male libido is like spending 40 years chained to an idiot.

The other quote which sprang into my mind straightaway was a Biblical one. Now I know there's a lot of bizarre ****e in The Bible but I feel this is worth throwing into the social media, holier than thou, ****fest; Let he who is without sin, cast the first stone.

Thud.

Shriek.

Mary says "D'ya know Jesus, sometimes for a Christian you can be a right ****'.

Sorry. Couldn't resist the last bit.
