    I wonder if JWP would be considered the 'replacement' for Rice? I imagine the WHU fans would think so if he cost £30m to £40m. Not an ideal scenario to follow a captain that just one a European trophy and is a fan's favourite. I wonder if JWP would factor that into his decision of whether to go to WHU or not?

    If he didn't hit the ground running then he could end up being the fall guy if their season doesn't start well
