this was first done under donald, and it wasn't great, didnt have enough supply to keep up with support the deal was also a knock off nike for the bairns top

only way this turns out good if the deal we have is better. more supply, nike more in control ext.

pompey fans i believe have been complaining aswell the last couple of years and they are also in this contract

The stock issue is not the supplier its the club! The club order a set amount of kits in mixed sizes and this is ordered months before the season starts. When they are gone there gone there will not be a restock. There weee games towards the end of last season players were told not to give kits away as they were running out!

Kits need released. Kids going on their holidays soon that’s prime sales time.

Ridiculous being this far into the break and no sign.

Not sure on contract dates but do remember since KLD came in we were tied to some legacy contracts signed by SD/CM. and I think that these have caused a lot of the problems over the last couple of seasons. This new deal whilst seeming similar I am sure will be more weighted in our favour and spells an end to the previous one(Probably signed in crayon) and I hope the club have been a lot more efficient in ensuring quality and value for the supporters but only time will tell. I am not going to start throwing my toys out the pram yet but it may happen in a couple of months time !!!!

Sunderland AFC today issued the following update to its supporters.

After a period of extended dialogue with the Just Sport Group, the Club will not be implementing the operational changes previously communicated on Tuesday 27th June, 2023.

SAFC’s retail functions will continue to operate in-house during the forthcoming campaign and the reveal of our 2023-24 home and away kits will proceed as planned ahead of Saturday’s pre-season double-header.

The decision taken by the Club has resulted in a delay to the reopening of the Online Store and Stadium of Light Store, which will now take place at 10:00 on Wednesday 12th July.

SAFC would like to extend its gratitude to the Just Sport Group and Nike for the understanding that they have displayed throughout recent discussions, and we look forward to working with them during the forthcoming campaign.

The Club also takes this opportunity to thank our fans and staff for their continued backing and support.

Strange chain of events. Club doesn’t need to ship that out though I feel it should be ran in-house.

I think that statement give more away than it shows..
"After a period of extended dialogue with the Just Sport Group, the Club will not be implementing the operational changes previously communicated on Tuesday 27 June 2023"
"SAFC would like to extend its gratitude to the Just Sport Group and Nike for the understanding they have displayed throughout recent discussions, and we look forward to working with them during the upcomingcampaign."

From these two paragraphs alone, it says will not be implementing the changes previously communicated, so does this mean the extension of contract as the last paragraph only states working with them during the upcoming season, not seasons beyond that as per extension.

I reckon that new contract has been shredded and they will be gone at the end of this season.

I wouldn’t mind having a ‘proper’ Nike deal. Then we’d get sewn on badges and some imagination.

I mean the dream world we hit the PL and get Jordan gear like PSG it’s embarrassing how much PSG training gear I have for casual/gym as it’s all beautiful.

    Never happen like ha.
