This match is entirely down to the owner and it is a mismatch but that's his style...He likes the publicity.

I know some who are going, I was asked but wasn’t fussed on the arrangements, but they were told there would be 2 games, this one’s been hastily arranged

That goal shows what we want to do. Pace in behind and easy ball across goal for a tap in. Not sure we had anyone quick making those runs last year

But, but ... Liam has been thinking all close season: "how can we not do any better?"
We should push the boat out for Darlow, get a proper striker, work out how we can get the ball up to the strikers more
oh, and stop messing about in front of our own goal!

IMO teams needs to secure DC,CM and Striker most ımportants positions

With Oscar,Tetteh,Delap strikers are secure ımo but we cant say the same thing for defence and midfield

Acun should focus to bring solid DC and midfielders then this team can dream about play-offs

For what its worth the interplay between Allayhar and Coyle was really good there. Good composure to get the ball in to Tetteh as well when he could've wasted it

Glad I watched the England U21 semi final before switching to City game live, as someone said earlier men against boys, it's alight in my opinion playing out from the back but not against teams that press high because we always end up playing the ball from keeper to Seri & he gets muscled off the ball far to much...work to do but it's only the first game of preseason for f**ck sake & we've only been in Turkey 2 days playing their Champions!

Pretty much to be expected, playing a big European team on their turf with two reserves in the starting line up and a striker making his debut.
This isn’t about winning, the skill level isn’t matched. It’s about minutes in the legs and the experience of playing a much better team.
All things said and done, it hasn’t been a bad showing from most of them.

Agree. This games probably looks very different with a confident player alongside Seri

They are a good side, we have been pressed into mistakes for 2 of the goals, all a bit rusty, but Delap looks okay.

this match is being played more competitively than most friendlies
you dont need to be training for more than two days before you know not to mess about in front of your own goal

last season we conceded two silly goals in three matches before we ditched Liam's idea of messing about at the back

    This.
It's a vanity game for Acun and I have no problem with it.
Though I'd rather have him bring one of the big Turkish clubs and some fans to the MKM for a prestige pre season friendly sometime.
