I don't think 7-8 incomings, with 3-4 of those being loans with the prospect of signing them, is that many players.
That’s true in our case now as we are keeping the main core of the side. In previous years we’d sign that many to become the new core
That's whats going unnoticed. The core of our squad is tied down for a while with all the renewals. Adding in some quality with loans whilst frustrating isnt the end of the world
Continuity is pretty much what Luton got promoted on the back of. If you don’t have parachute payments it’s pretty much how you’re going to eventually get promoted. They didn’t really have any big sales over the years either
Drinks trolley looks a bit sparse in the alcoholic beverages dept and it looks like the 'we've ran out of ice' routine is in full swing... That aside, looks like a decent 'jolly'
No it didn't, but probably 8+ this year on the back of 16+ last year and 9 the year before doesn't leave much continuity
I keep wondering about him. He's mentioned surprisingly rarely considering we know we would've signed him months ago if we hadn't missed a deadline.
There was a few rumours the other day he’d agreed a deal to go to Preston. Mark down a goal against us this season if true…
Would seem odd that we would just no longer be interested at all when it’s a position where we are critically endangered.
Yeh it's a strange one, if we are in a position where we have to be looking to sign players that we can sell for profit, he seems like one that has the potential to massively pay off.
This type of approach proper scares me. He was identified in Jan and we wanted to do the deal but a few months later we don't. It doesn't make sense It just makes it look like a panic signing
Can’t say I know much about him, his CV with Marseille and Olympiakos (I think?) is worth getting excited about, and with a name like Konrad De La Fuente he sounds like he’s going to be good. I don’t know if he did anything in the second half of the season that raised his stock too high but considering Preston seem to be in running I would expect not.
