Lando's upgrades seem to be working well. Great drive from Alex.

    it's a short track.

    it's a tight track

    it's a twisty track.

perez's head is gone imo. which is stupid as he'll given he should be collecting points and podiums.and just wait fir a car failure to get race wins.

Nice to see mclaren pop up but let's just face what this track is.

I do wish they would stop moaning about track limits .

If they don’t like them , then bring back gravel traps . That will show them .

but they never will , as that means very often the car is out and that won’t please the sponsors .

it's a narrow little track with big fat cars going about.

they don't actually have to sets such strict limits anyway.

not one single car who exceeded has any issue in doing so.

I’ll say I don’t mind the track limits stuff. It’s rewarding those who can place their car skillfully.

McLaren update looking good, but the track is a bit of an outlier. Looking forward to seeing how they go next week.

I'm fine with track limits to long as it's every white line everywhere. When it's only certain spots that are enforced it's just crazy.

Other alternatives I'd say eff track limits and let them use what's available.:)

I believe the “fully beyond the white line” rule is now standardised?

These Austrian corners I think show it up more, because of the combination of two fast off camber corners back to back, followed by a long straight. Meaning on such a short lap, a there’s a significant percentage of lap time available for pushing the limits.

There’s a couple of other factors too: yesterday the wind was blowing towards the outside of those corners, introducing an evolving variable from lap to lap and qualifying on a Friday means more track evolution from lap to lap as well.

Sprint Quali was quite good today. Nice to have a drying track, gave some teams a bit of a helping hand.

Hopefully the Sprint will be wet/dry - sad that I'm hoping for changeable conditions so we actually get a competition!

How slow are Ferrari pit stops? Surely that is one thing that's easy to practice and get a consistent fast stop? It's just cost both their drivers 2 seconds!

Two years of yawn fest after the great 2021 season, a real shame.

As boring as the 2014 season this is, where there feels like no hope for any of the chasing pack.

After Aston launched a protest the stewards have reviewed the track limits infringements!!!
The results are in and there are a few changes!!!!
    1. Max
    2. Charles
    3. Sergio
    4. Lando
    5. Fernando
    6. Carlos *
    7. George
    8. Lewis *
    9. Lance
    10. Pierre *
    11. Alex *
    12. Zhou
    13. Logan*
    14. Esterban *
    15. Valtteri
    16. Nyck *
    17. Kevin *
    18. Yuki *

    * = penalties Esteban received 30 seconds worth so he must have exceeded the limits on 50% of the laps!

    Talk about a balls up!!!!
While I want the racing to be fair, having penalties for track limits applied after the race and so many of them can't happen again it's just stupid.

    Much like this forum...

The sport is dead... The spectacle has gone and it's most definitely just sports entertainment now.

    Well done liberty.. well done.

It's the way of F1. Get some kind of parity right before a big reg change, shuffle the pack, get a new dominant team.

It would be great if they could somehow incrementally change regs over time.

It's hard to see anybody winning a race outside of Max atm. They're just that good.
