Certainly a good start, along with a back room staff announcement. We had Alves and Baybrook join in with 1st team squads last season but serious injuries curtailed their seasons. If I recall there was also another lad to, a defender? If we've anyone good enough, with the number of games to play, the increase in subs and Enzo's background with youth, you'd think they'd be given the opportunity this year.
Braybrooke and Alves should be back around September, and both have first team potential. Lewis Brunt is a good young defender who may make the step up and Marcal-Madivadua has been in first team squads. Think George Hirst is still with us as well
Reports that Kels is close to a move to Forest - fair play to the lad, hope he's a guaranteed starter there ...
English midfielder Danny Drinkwater, 33, says he would like to rejoin Leicester City after leaving the club for Chelsea in 2017.. (SportBible) What a great signing that would be. He's looked after himself well while he's been away so let's get it done. The crowd would give him a great reception. You couldn't make it up!
Vardy to Everton?? Can't see it unless the club have told him he and his wages arent wanted. Would also mean we are close to getting the Swansea striker.
Watched this afternoon's 1-0 friendly win at Northampton via YouTube... Winks, Pereira and Dewsbury-Hall as a midfield trio were pretty good ... Vestergaard came on secind half and his long range passing was really impressive... hope he gets an opportunity this season tbh ...

Well that's 4 signings then, New goalkeeper that can actually kick a ball apparently, that will be a novel feature lol. we'll probably see 1 of Iverson or Ward go now (probably Iverson as he is the most saleable)
I'd concur that Iverson is our more sellable player but Ward must surely want out. Years being No 2, finally promoted but then unceremoniously dropped a few months later. Obviously, I realise the issue of actually finding someone to take him isn't simple but, your self respect must kick in and you'd want a move? If Iverson has ambition of his own he'll probably want to move anyway though.
Ward will have to go ... new guy is likely to be installed as No 1 and the club apparently really rate Stolarcyk too ...
Really balanced squad, 5 goal keepers and one winger. Agree Ward will pack his bags and for a championship side Smithies should go as well. Barnes is gone, which is all profit for us and not really fussed if Iheanacho goes. Get a decent striker plus Mavdiddi until Alves and Braybrooe are back and we will be fine
And today's pre season friendly against Spurs called off due to rain. Obviously, a surprise during Thailand's monsoon season. So, 2 weeks to go and we've canceled 2 matches, 1 next week, long haul fight back and we start the season. Lovely stuff!
Quote from BBC website: Barnes will slot into the attack perfectly, with high energy, direct running and a consistent threat. We could have done with a player like that last season.
Much better than I expected. I thought it would be some sort of high viz and you've been tango abomination. Or we'd look like Wolves. It's decent actually.
I only saw the first half, but from what I did see Vardy wasn’t cutting it, pace gone and little physical presence, he would benefit from Iheanacho playing alongside him though. And Ndidi didn’t look very clever with this quick passing game, looks like Praet made an impression when he came on.
