Oh you've saved me doing it. I was going to have Chelsea 5th and Newcastle 6th but otherwise the same.
City Newcastle Liverpool Man U Chelsea Spurs Arsenal Villa Yeah optimistic so **** you. But even at my most optimistic we ain't gonna finish above City. But ****ing progress from this season innit.
Newcastle - I think we'll evolve and be difficult to play against, with a lot of the other teams beating each other. Man City - Pushing all the way. Chelsea - no CL, good manager and a strong team should see a resurgence. Liverpool - similar to Chelsea, but Europa League will be appealing to them. Arsenal - the real Arsenal appeared towards the end of the season, they're still a bit lightweight, Havertz/Rice I'm just not convinced by. Villa - solid, good manager, not losing players, good recruitment. Brighton - same as Villa. Man U - flattered to deceive, Mount is awful, if teams went at them they'd lose a lot more.
This is kinda my thoughts. City - obviously everyone will be shocked if they don't win the league Arsenal - really don't see them repeating last season, maybe down to 4th or 5th Chelsea and Liverpool - both will be right back in it after awful seasons last season. Liverpool were on fire towards the end of the season and will keep that up with their new signings, and Pouch is a winner and will get Chelsea back up there. Spurs - really not all that, would be surprised if Aussie dude turns them around, 6th if they're lucky Brighton - can actually see them falling away a bit without Mac Allister. Villa - a definite dark horse that could have a surprise top 4 bid. Right now on paper we're as good as anyone else apart from City, just need to strengthen the squad to cope with the extra CL games.
