Long way to go yet mate, better players/prem loans tend to move later in the window anyway

Probably unpopular but I wouldn't be against bringing Troy Parrott in. He grafts and is quick. He can also play wide and no.10

Not best goal scoring record but I reckon we could get the best out of him in our side and also gives us something a bit different

In other news Liam Delap is going to hull

    I'd echo that mate.

(Sorry, I'm pissed ... hard day at graft.)

Not convinced by either Delap or Parrott personally.
    We can do better.

We've been linked with Parrot for the last 3 years or something. If he hasn't kicked on by now then there's no chance imo.

Not a post against you @ab65 mate. <cheers>

He is a good player, and the club know he is a good player, speakman praised him a lot after he was recalled. Doesn't mean they want to sign him though.

Parrot destroyed us when MK Don's won up here last year.

I don't know much about the lad but in his senior career he's scored about 1 in 10, by comparison Simms who a lot don't fancy (and is the same age more or less) has scored 1 in 3.

Surely Speakman isn’t that much of an idiot? Saying that, last seasons striker situation was a disgrace. We’ll see.

I think the rule change to have more subs is a help in trying to recruit another striker, I'd assume we will be looking at the top performing PL2 strikers either on a permanent or loan

Another striker/second striker on the agenda anyway.

Also, to add, thanks to those who have messaged me to say that there are once again pages and pages of posts relating to me on RTG, within the Jack Clarke thread. From now on, don't bother sending to me. Left for a reason. If you feel it's inappropriate then just report the post over there. I don't need to see it.

Mad to me that I haven't had an account for years and some will continue to make libelous posts , referencing my personal life. Even more disappointing is that moderators continue to be weak and allow it to happen.

That said, let's see what the next few days bring eh. I have done canny so far ha. I'll step away for a bit now and catch you at some point later.
