He would be very difficult to get but he is perfect for us. I still think we get Thuram once euro's are done. Lavia would be dependent on another midfielder leaving this summer, and I wouldn't be surprised if it was Thiago.
who knows. The thuram stuff could as easily be an agent paying the usual mouth piece to keep the story in the media Lavia is actually a no 6 but a development project and arsenal are sniffing. I agree thaigo is toast.
I would be surprised if Thiago left as i cannot see anyone buying an old injury prone midfielder who is on big wages .
Barca the issue is you keep using words like "buy" which insinuate money actually exchanged hands when they are involved.
It's been a while since we've had a Hungarian at the club... even better, Szoboszlai is good enough for the first team. Need more Hungarians!
Yeah, Bogdan wasn't too long ago. At one point Kristian Nemeth was going to be the new Michael Owen (didn't work out). Then there was Peter Gulacsi. We've had several in the reserves/youth teams but none of them seem to make the step up no matter how much I will them to do well.
NO chance. Chelsea don’t want to sell and if they do it will be for a high price and reluctantly and he’s more likely to go back to Brighton where will be first choice in lead up to euros. Reason he hasn’t signed new deal that’s on table is because he wants those assurances from Chelsea.
According to Ornstein we are currently in talks, no problem with personal terms and although there is a release clause that ends today, the good relationship between the clubs means talks can continue beyond until agreement is reached.
Looks like Szoboszlai deal is done - Guido Schafer on Twitter. ( can't get onto Twitter now to even read posts unless you have an account so can't post the link).
Paul Joyce confirms it. Well done everyone. Unfortunately, Dom is not on MITO's list which means the transfer isn't happening.
Off-topic, but I think Twitter are shooting themselves in the foot there. If they limit who can read content on Twitter then it no longer becomes a universal platform and people will over time start posting content elsewhere. It might look like a win to them in the short-term because more people will open accounts- but long term its a bad idea.
Noticed this today. Kept asking to log in to view info. As you say, stops a lot of traffic and can’t be good for thrm
Apparently informed RBL that we’ll trigger the £60m clause. Just the formalities now. Exciting signing that
