Understand reports that #itfc have had a £4m bid for Everton striker Ellis Simms rejected to be incorrect.

One of several strikers Ipswich are interested in and have made enquiries about.

Football world knows Ipswich have money. Club won’t pay over odds though.

I would find it unlikely we would buy Simms at the asking price. Also, I would expect some movement out of the squad soon..loans and a permanent.

I can see Wright and Matete going permanently, Johnson and Anderson going on loan.

I think Embo might go out on loan as well towards the end of the window. Just a feeling like.

Don't see the point in sending embo on loan, if he isn't going to be in or around match day squads, they might aswell sell him

He's had a long lay off and needs to get back into regularly playing. He could still have a role to play long term but I think a short loan away might do him good.

I think what is more likely is that he stays but doesn't feature as much as anyone would like, and ends up going on loan in January

Serious interest and ongoing conversations about Clarke, Ballard, Steward, Pritchard, Anderson, Metete, Wright and Bennette. I do believe we will lose a few of these on loan and permanent transfers. This will free the squad up a bit and allow 2/3 more transfers in. Hopefully, keep Clarke and Ballard some concerns we cant agree a deal with Stewart and his head has been turned.

Bennette? Surely we won't sell him.

    Anything on incomings mate?

Bennette linked with a loan pal. I would like to see more of him..he has plenty of admirers.

A midfielder and potentially two forwarders.

I think a loan for the lad would make sense.

A loan to Hibs would be decent for him for 6 months. Run of games and European football, then back to challenge with some good experience behind him.

Conor Coady signing for Leicester. I think he’ll do well there, should be excellent still at this level.

Was in a recent England squad wasn't he? Surprised he doesn't have suitors in the PL

Shout and a half the spl like needs to be in an English speaking league, would rather he went to a hibs/hearts than a Carlisle/Lincoln
