Anyone else concerned that somebody even thought about loaning Sonny Perkins to a rival championship club? This kid was in West Ham’s first team squad and played a couple of games. They were upset we took him away, plus he has scored a lot of goals for the 21s and is too good for the kids now. He should be part of our first team squad or loaned out abroad.

He’s more than ready for first team Championship football. Where did you read he’s going to be loaned out to a rival?

If true it makes no sense. His wages won’t be comparatively high.

I saw that article and thought why bother having an u21s if we don't use them. Gyabi is another and joseph.. Cresswell too.

    Note of positivity <whistle>

In the event of the EFL not ratifying the takeover and the appointment of a new manager is not possible we could do a lot worse than have Skubala in charge of the first team.

Those that want to leave can do. We won’t be able to bring any players in but he knows the best of the u21’s and the more experienced players.

    Problem solved

correct about play off performances or rather lack of, but i would take one rather than not on the simple basis of i refuse to believe even with the current situation we would not be one of the better teams in the division...so at least putting us up in the leading pack, not forgetting the raised game from our opponents which will be a given .....get ready for the big dipper ride :emoticon-0148-yes:

That’s not a positivity, he’s already shown he’s not ready to coach the first

Don’t know why every one’s jumping up and down and getting their knickers in a twist
I’ve just checked the league table and we are already up to ninth place and we haven’t even kicked a ball yet
Only upsetting thing is Huddersfield are above us, time for a new manager?

I hate to sound a negative ****er but…… I don’t get this “we would be one of the better teams”? We seem to have forgotten the mantra, Bielsa took a team of average championship players and turned them into premier league players. Well Marcelo has gone and I’ve not seen much evidence that we’ve replaced with better quality. I think a lot rests on recruitment this summer, which is why I’m frustrated with how long getting the structure in place is taking, and that our U21s are good enough for the championship.

It was a worst case scenario.

And also involved a bit of this:

EFL will ratify 49ers takeover, no reason not to ... they run the biggest sports club in USA (bigger than fkn Yankees) and money is not an issue

imagine EFL saying no, it would be the greatest embarrassment ever for them

the manager choice will determine how Leeds look, either 12th in January or top of the table

I don't expect a mass exodus because money's not crippling us, and there also have to be a lot of takers for our players

selling most of the squad and starting from scratch is not a recipe for success, but that depends ... if 'Arry or Big Sam do indeed pop us as new boss, then even the tea lady will be transfer listed

So if it’s that easy why are they taking so long to ratify so we can start planning?

Nothing to be negative about either yet mate. All this talk of players leaving, I would be more worried trying to win promotion with the same 15 or so players that took us down. We have our wish, Radz and Orta are gone, we're on track it's just not going quick enough and we get impatient but I do not feel it is fair to blame the club for the EFL not moving quick enough

I’m not down at all. I’m getting to the stage of not being bothered what all these foreign owners do. If we win a few games as we go along it’ll be a bonus
