Good Morning. It's Tuesday 27th June, and here are the latest headlines from Elland Road

Leeds were due to disclose Manager last Friday

Football journalist Alan Nixon has claimed that Leeds were due to disclose their new Manager last Friday, but four days on, and no announcement in sight, the silence has become deafening.

Whilst Daniel Farke remains hot favourite, a position he's held, on and off for several weeks now, there's still no official word from LS11, about who will become Leeds 29th Manager this century. The players report back for pre-season training on Monday 3rd July, and as things stand Michael Skubala will take training.

Leeds-live have disclosed that players who are expected to depart to pastures new, have been told to stay away from Thorp Arch, in preparations for their mass exudes'.

Can magnificent seven step up to the plate

Whilst relegation fills most of us with dread, it will at least given the Leeds fringe players an opportunity to show their worth.

Mateo Joseph, Lewis Bate, Joe Gelhardt, Sonny Perkins, Darko Gyabi, Archie Gray and Charlie Cresswell are all hoping to make an instant impact in the Championship, and return Yorkshire's finest back to the top flight.

Leeds invested heavily in their academy during Radrizzani's reign, but have had little in return so far. We seen glimpses of brilliance from the likes of Joffy, Struijk, Summerville and Greenwood, but as of yet, nobody has set the World alive.

A year on, and many of the names mentioned (along with Leo Hjelde and Kristoffer Klaesson) are starting to reach maturity, giving them a real opportunity to stake their claim to the first team.

Would you accept a play off position

The new season kicks off in 40 days, and to say Leeds aren't prepared is an understatement. The EFL are seriously dragging their heels regarding giving 49ers Enterprises the green light to complete the takeover, and until then, Leeds are reluctant to name Sam Allardyce's successor.

Nick Hammond has been bought in as a temporary Director of football (which isn't ideal) and speculation is rife that most players have a clause in their contract allowing them to leave on a season long loan following relegation.

Bearing this in mind, if you were offered a play off place now, would you accept it?

Morning all

I don't see anything as being delayed other than the official announcement. We have to assume we are waiting for clearance from the EFL, if that happens and it turns out we haven't yet got a coach waiting in the wings then I will turn on the board.

Assuming it is Farke he isn't going to be sitting at home watching TV with his feet up waiting for the green light. He will be working with Kinnear and the DoF on targets, he will have been having discussions about who he would like to keep.

Regarding release clauses, that's out of everyone's hands apart from the player and their agent, we can't change that.

The board have appointed an interim DoF so that things can move behind the scenes, that was a good move, a bad one would have been do nothing until the coach is in place and they obviously realised the official announcement needs to wait on the EFL

Just another possible scenario - Farke has said yes to a contract if the 49ers are sole owners but if they fail the fit and proper test he is not willing to work under Radz.

Another day of inertia. Wonder if anyone at the club is chasing the EFL board so we can actually start planning for the season? Who is on the board? Is it chairman of rival clubs? Well done Ell in thinking things up during this stagnant stage.

Morning all.

No to a play off place (if offered) as we don't perform well in them and never will.

Put simply we will have to get promoted automatically or it won't happen <ok>

It was a massive mistake not starting with Jansson against Derby in the play offs

Not dramatic enough mate. Be prepared to be labelled a Happy Clapper for making such sensible points <whistle>
