I just think you keep him for as long as possible because the current situation could turn nasty without him. Even with him I think next season is going to be a tough one and Spurs will struggle. I still can’t quite believe Spurs sacked Conte and took such a risk on his successor. The transfer situation will be the usual and I think the new manager will once again be forced to use the likes of Dier, Sanchez and Ben Davies (none of them are good enough). Plus you got the likes of Ndombele, Lo Celso & Winks back from their loans and Levy probably thinks Ange will be able to get a tune out of them even though they’ve failed multiple managers.
I said to myself that I’m keeping quiet till the transfer window shuts ins n outs will show us what our intentions are got to back the new man though let’s see if Levy backs him with key additions we know what they are
We all know how cruel fate can be at times, I imagine a scenario where Kane goes to another club, such as Bayern, then Spurs go and win some silver the same season - you just know it's going to happen.
We’ve agreed personal terms with Maddison and are trying to get a deal done this week. If he can avoid those niggling injuries that’s a top signing for us if it goes through. Been crying out for creativity for years since Eriksen left. We’re trying to chuck Winks in Leicester’s direction as well, would be a separate deal and not to do with our pursuit of Maddison but Jesus that might be our best news of the summer if we pull that off.
