IKEA do this with their blinds, it comes with a template you stick on the wall and just drill there.

My fridge freezer died so I've taken this opportunity to buy a big **** off American style fridge freezer.
Needed to remodel the kitchen to fit it in.
Where the old fridge was is getting converted to a large cupboard and I'll be putting a new rad in on the wall next to the door. Means the laminate has to come up and the pipes to be cut into the concrete floor. I doubt it.
Doing the rads will be a pain. That's what's gonna hold things up.

You'll be fine mate. Have to admit I don't really like the idea of large fridge freezers in enclosed cupboards, I always think it will cause a problem with the chilling system because of the heat generating from the back of it, although probably not.

One summer I'd turned my beer fridge up a bit too high, and it's not one of those counter size fridges, it's a full size fridge. Anyway it had built up a massive chunck of ice on the back, so me being me, I thought I would turn it off and de-ice it. Anyway forgot about it and walked into the kitchen later, and thought what's all this fooking water on the floor! Not sure where I thought all the water was going to go. <doh><laugh>

My brother has one built into a cupboard, got the specified gaps around it and they're having issues with overheating.
Found the pipes, just gonna run them straight down behind the skirting and across the room under the laminate.
Gonna run a spur off that double socket down to where the pipe is now for the fridge freezer.

That's an integrated fridge freezer that went kaput. Quite expensive to replace. That one was £800 quid 10 years ago.

If you've ever had integrated devices you'll know that they're extra ****in small inside. ****in horrible to use.
Anyway, I wanted something bigger and more cupboard space which is what this solution provides.

I think I've ****in hated that integrated fridge freezer from the day I bought it <laugh>

I think I've hated the lack of storage in the kitchen since the day our lass convinced me not to put up those extra cupboards.
    Win ****in win <cheers>

Why do you need a fridge freezer when you live on pilchards and beans?
