So am I, as long as he keeps it a secret and doesn't tell anyone before we go ... .... secrecy is the key.
I am in as well. Where do I sign. I wont tell anyone either, be a nice surprise when I call from the summit.
Have you heard wether the plan is to stop off somewhere for eats , can’t be doing with humping a packed lunch around
If its on a weekend I'm in as well. Don't really want to lose any more time off work, so set off Saturday morning and back Sunday tea time would be ideal.
Will I need a big jacket? Just asking cos I'm looking at getting a new one when this warm weather has decided its done
Titanic to backpack venture to the top of the world....only this forum....just brilliant PS...am I allowed to join. My middle name is Sherpa
I’m quite relieved that you will go mate. Not just because of that middle name , but you are very experienced at getting to the top and then surviving there .
I'll go and do it. You never know I might get it cheaper cos no-one will be looking to buy them with this weather!
I'll go, can we all remember to bring our SAFC scarves for a pickie on the top, bet that's one place it hasn't been done yet! Can somebody invent a scarf emoji please?
Snaggey wants to do it on a weekend so he gets back for work. I reckon we do an all you can eat chinese buffet friday night, couple of scotch eggs in the backpack, then back in time for roast beef dinner and a bottle of double maxim.
I reckon if we go at night we won't need the sun block and would you suggest mittens or fingerless gloves also I've got one of those disposable barbecues. Who's bringing the torch?
Torch not totally necessary . If we keep walking towards the stars , then we know we must be going upwards.
Ive got the tent....... please log in to view this image ......and we probably will once the wind gets up!
