Maybe that has been the board's strategy all along. They figured that Martin wouldn't be unanimously welcomed, so they've dragged it out for ages in order to allow that negative feeling to turn into desperation and acceptance.
Could the board be stalling while they check out other unknown candidates, pull out at the last minute with a disrupted Swansea squad with a manager that their fans no longer want? I feel for Valenciennes fans that think SR are the answer to all their problems.
More likely Swansea stalling to get their new manager in place at the same time I know we’re all impatient, me included, but there are always ducks to get in a row
Perhaps we should sneak in and get Michael Duff instead. Would be great to say we have Duff manager, as we did most of last season anyway
