Im very pleased for Ireland and their almost guaranteed progression to Euro 2012. They were absolutely superb but this victory and progression to Euro 2012 is all but guaranteed yet I still cant help thinking back to two years ago when that disgusting and disgraceful hypocrite and vile creature cheated Ireland out of going to the world cup.
Congrats. I'm part-Irish but I've never really cared for the national team. The current generation isn't great, but underdogs can do well in the Euros.
Agreed. But if I remember correctly, didn't Ireland miss plenty of chances that night in Paris? Talk about coming back to bite you on your bum.
