How many times have we played you?

On the game. It should be good. I haven't looked at you in any great detail, but you have a reputation as an attacking side, which i like to see. The most boring thing in football is watching a big team spend 90 minutes trying to break down a team thats show up to defend.

Im willing to bet my house we'll score so its about how much you can capitalise on our rather exposed defence. I see a game like United-Blackpool last year. You'll take the lead, but we'll win.

Think someone posted 8 times in Swansea in total, hope that figure increases significantly in the years to come <ok>

As to the game itself, we don't park a bus on the pitch so will go out and give a game , I have a feeling it's going to be a tight game for most of the game, and either we get a point out of it or we get a pasted, I am always the optimist and will happily take the draw now ;)

I think the players will be up for this one as much as us supporters.Home game against the Champions with confidence high and the bench looking stronger that it has for a while,I fancy a shock result to be honest Scott /Nathan making some foraging runs into the box v Videc no contest ,up steps Scotty 1-0 thanks , Rooney skying it over the bar then off for getting frustrated (again)
Then it could go the other way,
What ever I'm looking forward to this one

Mike Dean officiating, his first visit to the Liberty and many of our fans will remember his last minute penality decision for the home side at Ninian Park. Seems to like to give a pen or two does Mr Dean, let's hope it is for the home side on Saturday.

As for all this Taff and Valley talk think the Mancs have got us mixed up with our lower league neighbours. We're Jacks and live in a beautiful part of Wales, right on the coast with some of the best beaches in Britain on the Gower Peninsular. Sadly Twin Towns did us no favours particularly as much of it was filmed in Baglan, Port Talbot which is ten miles further east.

This Swansea valley debate is like saying Man Utd play in Manchester when they actually play in Trafford ;) Should be a great game on Saturday our defence will have to be at its best and have a bit of lady luck but I can see us creating chances as well with Dyer continuing his great form.

Don't get me started on Mike Dean, a prat of the highest order. Not only did he gift the rabble down the road a point, he also played as a 12th man in Ashton Gate a season later and couldn't wait to send Taylor off last season. The only worse choice as a ref would have been Howard Webb. If Utd aren't running away with it then expect a dodgy penalty or sending off.

Don't be so bloody ridiculous. You really don't want to be lowering yourselves to the level of paranoia of Liverpool, Arsenal and Chelsea fans, it's utter ****e.

Enjoy it, if you win well done and if you lose it will be **** all to do with the referee and everything to do with the fact we were better on the night.

How ironic, don't Swansea play in Landore? ;)

It's a valid analogy though Swarbs. We used to be based in Manchester but are now housed in Trafford whereas they used to use a ground on the coast but now use one in a valley!

Exactly a minute after my comment. It's like you were lurking behind a tree waiting for someone to dare say it's in a valley.

Which, of course, it is!! <ok>

    This <ok>

Can't believe my throwaway wiki reference has started such a random and off topic debate! :)

I should hope not. Should be a cracking game if both sides play the way they can (watch us scrape a ****ty 1-0 with a last minute deflected penalty now I've said that!)

It was all only in jest, didn't do anyone any harm.

I agree that United fans will be welcomed and it's a great weekend away.

Odds on at the bookies, Swarbs. Who's the ref, by the way?
