Newton Abbot is not a particularly lucky racecourse for me (sorry, Sir Barney!) but I will take a chance in the penultimate race (16:40), a Class-5 Handicap Hurdle over 2m167yds, in which I think Mutual Respect can at last get his head in front where it counts! Charlie Todd rides for the former military riderr, Billy Aprahamian, who has now set-up his own training yard

8/1 is the general best price at time of writing. E/W best option.

    Good luck.

Without much hope and just for fun, this morning I made a small bet, African Sun 28/1 e/w, but I wouldn't advise it to anyone.

Short run has come to an end, as they always do! Didn't run too badly to finish 5th, but just couldn't go through with his effort, although well up there towards the finish. Vin Rouge a good and easy winner at a pretty fair price. Sam Twiston-Davies riding very well indeed lately.
