Off Topic The Burly Arms

It's only going to get worse, 150mm cavities now.
Had building inspector round the other day, had a conversation about houses being too wrapped up and the problems it's causing with mould and condensation, only for them to make it worse. Honestly he said to me, that trickle vents on windows are not going to be sufficient to cope with the problems but they are working on windows when part of it is constantly open to create air flow, I kid you not

 

I use to joke about my house being too insulated, I thought it might just be a case of it being South facing and being full sun all day, especially with large windows. It wasn't until early covid and everyone was bolted down at home, the problem came more to light on tv - there were people living in blocks of flats that had been recently renovated, the residents were complaining in the summer since the renovation it was nigh on touching a 100f in their homes, and the government were bolt hole them in their properties.

 

Blistering day here ... been painting the fence that we put up last weekend most of the day... but enough time for winding up Chief in drinks breaks ... tough gig ... knackered

Basically drinking coffee, browsing a few emails and skimming bees and leaves out of the pool all day.

Still got 3 weeks off work to go.

 

i used to like that band……fresh suburban British council estate kids type feel to it……got bored when they became bigger and wealthier……but that’s just me

If the set list I've seen is correct, it's a good spread of their original suff with one or two of the newer.

Not been a fan of the latest stuff, but their first five or six albums were excellent.

First gig with my eldest teenage son, should be great.
