    Big Dog ...

    Dear me, Priti tweet... deluded

"Boris Johnson has served our country and his constituency with distinction. He led world in supporting Ukraine, got Brexit done, and was our most electorally successful Prime Minister since Margaret Thatcher. Boris is a political titan whose legacy will stand the test of time."

That’s the topic which has boiled my piss since his recent statement, with the energy companies literally taking the piss for years and Starmer rightly slating them at the dispatch box, I was confident and hopeful that he would reverse the shameful decision of privatisation of our utilities, but alas no he has ruled this out and instead super charging Blair’s policies ffs…working class party my arse:steam:

I can relate to this post on both counts. We had Holloway (or Hollow words) as our Manager and he left here with "I love the area and club so much" still ringing in the air. Both liars on a very grand scale.

Bonko will be having a party to celebrate the end of his time in politics. Nadine Dorries, Priti Patel and Jacob Rees Mogg top of the guest list. :emoticon-0102-bigsm

The sheer cost of nationalising industries makes it a complete non starter. Even if they started to do it piecemeal you've then got the issue of setting policy for companies you're competing with.

Do you remember nationalisation? It was ****e. Particularly the railways. Can you imagine it now, where unions refuse to negotiate until there's a minister sitting across the table?

No doubt he will be expecting Labour to get back into power after the next Election, it is about their turn.

At this stage, The Tory Party will panic, look for a Super-Hero to come charging over the horizen to rescue them, and Boris will put himself foeward, as a 'Man of The People'.
Since he will have been out of Parliament when The Downfall happened, he will be able to claim that he was in no way to blame,

    But credit wher it's due.
    He DID get BREXIT done.
And his Government made a reasonable job in handling The Pandemic, (bearing in mind that no Country in the World had any idea just HOW to handle this situation).
And, yes I was impressed at his support for Ukraine.

But his shambolic style of leadership has never been anything but embarrasing, and while it has been shown that he CAN organise a P155 up, he shouldn't be allowed too.

It’s fair enough to point out their failings and I’m not supporting the Liberals. There are three issues here for me, the Tories have crashed the economy so there is no money to change things unless someone is brave enough to take on the super wealthy and corporations. The city and capitalism needs reform. Starmer Labour are too safe / establishment so won’t change either. There is a lot wrong that needs sorting.

No country, including, India, China and the USA can fcuk with the bond markets.

There are literally billions of trillions of cash, sloshing around the markets and if the tide turns against you your economy is kaput.

We elect governments to govern, but money rules, There are guard rails government cannot go outside of.

So to re-nationise, water, rail etc compensating the current owners... hmm

I’d suggest how they did these two is why we’re in a financial mess

As an example the £13.5bn spent in the first year on a very poor track and trace system and the £8.7bn of written off PPE.

Honestly I can’t work out how they could possibly spend so much on the track and trace system. Think it’s safe to say many people were massively overpaid.
