Might as well. We usually need it again by November. March latest.

    Fantastic news.

Hopefully the fans at the stadium don’t start their jeering when we lose matches.

Not many are prepared to back Levy but he may have pulled a master stoke.

Aussies are generally laid back but their work ethic are superb. They don’t like whinging poms (other nationalities also apply) so the question remains on how much influence he has over transfer matters. This is my only concern. The DoF is critical.

Of course, there is one thing that needs to be cleared up
"Hey Ange, do you want Kulusevski?"

Get that sorted on Day One

The comments are all really nice.
I thought there'd be some negativity in there, to be honest.

I was in two minds about Kule given his performances this season but yes, I would be willing to see him in a 4-3-3.

    Exciting times.

Realistically, £30m for him this summer would be an absolute snip

Any equivalent player would surely cost 50% more than that

Hopefully he will want to stay rather as I believe the obligation to buy is no longer valid now that we are not in the CL.

The club still has the option, not the player. But I believe he said after the season that he was happy at Spurs and just wants to get fit for next season.

    Best of luck to Ange.

I really hope this appointment brings about change. - Not just for the fans in terms of performances and playing style, but everything else from top to bottom that’s been lacking.

I won’t hold my breath though.

Lennon and Rodgers (to name but two) have trodden this path. Is being successful with Celtic any preparation for the demands of the PL? We’ll see.
I certainly think he’ll change the playing style from Conte - his style is very much the opposite. How he achieves it and with which players will be the interesting part.

Neil Lennon finished 2nd in his first full season and then Rangers went into liquidation.
His following campaigns saw Motherwell finish runner-up.
Celtic's competition during that time were all in disarray.
Hearts, Hibs and Rangers fought it out for the Championship and promotion in 14/15.

I'm not suggesting that Rodgers or Postecoglou had it hard, but Lennon definitely had it easy.
People call it a two-team league, but he won it when one of them was missing, plus some more.

There is a lot of positivity here about the appointment, but from what I have seen that has not been replicated across other social media where some fans have been less than impressed.

I hope that the fixture computer is kind to us and that Ange is given a couple of winnable games to get him going and that the big games are well spaced as he will need to get off to a good start to get the fanbase fully on board.

I want him to succeed and having seen and read a lot about him in the last fews days I think he has many attributes to bring to the table, but getting the right players in and out is still the most important thing.

Could work out well for both of them.
Rodgers' reputation has taken a bit of a hit and there aren't many attractive PL jobs available.
Would he prefer Palace to Celtic? We'll see, I guess.
