CMs group have agreed to purchase Charlton subject to EFL approval.
Minutes silence for their fans then?

Oh dear. No idea who'll be putting the money up but it won't be the chancer.

If this doesn't go tits up it will be a major surprise. Charlton do not deserve that patronising gobshite.

I get the impression that he's acting as a go between or a figurehead. I think he will sell the club on to somebody else or somebody richer within his circle will run the club. He hasnt the money to run a football club himself so whether it is good news for Charlton or not will depend on who he has left the door ajar for.

It'll be interesting to see how he gets on. Real life data for comparison.

Perhaps he'll prove us all wrong and make them the next Brentford, Brighton or Fulham ...

... at least the Charlton supporters will understand business unlike us thick northerners.

If that Tory ****er passes the "fit and proper" test then it shows it up to be the chocolate fireguard we all know it is

Question 1 - have you ever owned and asset-stripped an EFL club
Answer - yes, but they were Northerners, they didn't understand business

    Welcome to the EFL

My friend admitted the previous couple of owners were just as bad, hopefully something good comes from this takeover.
