Chart for the week.....and been a bit of a tough one. First off....@flandersmackem, hope all is well mate, get well soon. We have a clear winner this week, and it's good to see that Cumbriette is now feeling much better. A really impressive score of 19 ( only 1 off her record), comprising x5 birdies and x2 Eagles. Superb stuff . Second spot goes to @Row 3 with with an impressive 22 , and honourable mention to @malagamackem with 23 . Lots of high scores this week....definately a few tough ones this week. Today's was a low scoring day, with x11 birdies, and x3 eagles. Just noticed as well, this post also brings up page 400 of this thread....400 pages!!
Three to start the week. Three yellows, Two yellows and a green then took some time to the third guess.
Lost 3-4 which considering I'm delighted with. Juicey, 2 which were vowels, stab in the dark found me 2 of each, guessing game which I got right for a welcome par and a word neither of us had heard of. The difference today was she's a better guesser than me, which obviously helps playing this game. Thanks Snaggey for this week's chart, she's back on it I'm afraid, keep up the good work mate.
Came out with a 6 after heading for a fail. Could not see it. To be fair got it by fluke with what letters were left.
Bagged a really impressive birdie. Two juicies Had read commentary about the horrible words, and all the vowels Got two hughies and another juicy I now knew what last letter was and a satisfying chip for a three
Two juicies, two Hughies, two and a juicy, Eddie, then a wild guess for what I didn't know was a word (it's fecking not, like) for a lucky bogey Welcome back to the fold, Moll
5/3 stumped on getting the first two hughies, had to seek internet help, and there is plenty on there but Clockerty tells me its a cross word favourite.
