It’s been just over two weeks since we effectively found out Martin was getting the job, but it feels a hell of a lot longer than that. Hopefully we can get it announced early next week.
Have we not already lost our PL status? When does that happen if it hasn’t already? I know the transfer window opens on the 9th of June so is it then?
I don't know when officially it changes. You'd think it should be already considering all the play offs and league campaigns have concluded.
Would imagine it’s at the official end of the season/beginning of the new season. Not sure when that happens though. Wonder what this means for any prospects of Grimes and Piroe if we were going to go back in, sounds like the clubs are at each others throats.
Simply activating the clause when we are officially a Championship club. Don't think that puts us at each others throats.
Wasn’t that recently, one of the London clubs? Swansea cancelled our hotel reservation at the last minute, I remember the review. edit: it was Everton
I would say bowing down and giving them what they want does not set a good tone for later negotiations anyway. Oh look that rich stupid club…
I imagine we cease to be a Premier League club the day we get the last payment from them. Rather like a job, you leave then get your final payment with your final paycheck along with all your unused holiday.
I believe the Premier League AGM is pencilled for June 14 (which also happens to be the official opening of the transfer window) - could be the date to watch?
I think they're waiting for the ceremonial lowering (complete with a marching band to mournful music) of the PL flag outside the stadium.
