It is just the most random talent for a club to have. Would be like Crystal Palace winning 5/10 FA Cups.
It's even sillier in a fashion, because by virtue of winning Europey, you now go in to CL the following year. In two of those five wins, Sevilla has had to fail in CL at exactly the right time in exactly the right position (3rd in the Group Stage) in order to end up in Europey and then win it. That's next-level dedication to being the best at being second-best.
It all stemmed from Mourinho confronting Taylor in the car park and shouting abuse at him. UEFA have to throw the book at him. It's one thing for emotions to boil over on the touchline, it's another thing entirely to confront a referee several hours after the match has finished. Outrageous behaviour.
Roma should also be excluded from European competitions next season as their behaviour, from the players and coaches to the fans, was disgraceful.
Well done Brentford. https://www.theguardian.com/footbal...r-women-as-new-brentford-under-18s-head-coach
I'm as ambivalent to the big 6 as anyone, but I don't see how City can be considered any better than United from a fan perspective (obviously they are the much better football team these days generally). Cracking goal though. Penalty was extremely harsh.
Yeah I find the City love in weird, thought most people here were against sportswashing from Arab states with poor human rights records?
I find Manchester City tediously boring to watch too. Really loved the Liverpool team in its peak a couple of years ago, as a neutral.
I'm torn. On the one hand I can't stand City. On the other hand, I really enjoy United getting beaten. It's a proper quandary.
I prefer just about everything City over Utd. I don't know much about ten Hag but I like Pep. Utd's fans are arrogant ****s and the Utd team are full of arseholes. Thought it was a penalty though.
Hmm…there is a question as how one affects change in a country by ostracising them, but that’s another thing entirely, and not for now.
