I think I said last night, probably the most cheating I've seen in a European game since the 70's/80's. I felt the ref did everything right and made all the correct decisions in a very difficult environment, not often I credit refs, but he deserves praise after what he had to tolerate. No one had any room for complaint and Sevilla were the deserved winners, even though I was backing Roma. I get the Italians are passionate but no excuse for that behaviour from grown men.
Poor as usual from UEFA he shouldn't have to go through that Some back door ting escape route would have done the trick. shoddy bastards running the game
UEFA charged Jose with insulting or abusive behaviour. I think they will have to chuck the book at him, to make an example that it's not acceptable. Should receive a lengthy ban but whether he will is another matter, only has himself to blame.
Pep playing his reserve keeper Stefan Ortega in the final…he’s played the whole tournament His distribution probably not on a par with Ederson’s so prolly a positive for United
Always admire a manager who picks a cup team and sticks with it even in the final. If they were good enough to get you there they should be allowed to finish the job.
Fosse mate; to compensate for your team being the 2nd worst in the PL this season, I recommend an e/w bet on The Foxes in the Derby today. Overpriced at 12/1, won the Dante at York which is usually the best Derby trial. Trained by Saints fan Andrew Balding, brother of Clare.
Difficult Cup Final for the neutral. Obviously no actual football fan wants money laundering City to buy the treble. But let’s face it, no **** like Utd either. Might have a tenner on the Red Mancs. Because George Best was something of a boyhood hero.
