Sounds like a cop out to me
They basically think they’ve got someone better lined up
But football is ruthless sometimes
I’m sure he’ll get other decent offers having kept Bournemouth up against the odds

 

I’m sure financially he’ll be fine, risky though, if the new guy starts badly they’ll look like right numpties. Personally keeping them up is success in my book.

 

Not about money though is if ?
I’m sure he’ll be well compensated by Bournemouth but his confidence may well take a hit
