North, it is a bit like a broken record. But the Adel Taarabt enigma is never boring. Even last season when he was firing on all cylinders he was still the topic of much a debate. QPR will be a duller, if more united, place without him.
Some great footballing talents seem to have a self-destruct button. George Best had it. Gazza had it. Stan Bowles had to be rescued from it. Admittedly, Tarbs has yet to prove himself among the best, but there is genius within the guy. If he can just get his temperament right.
I think adels time is up at the club we all including warnock ignored his lack of respect for the club and bad attitude whilst he was ripping it up in the championship. But when he's still acting like a brat and not backing it up even warnock must draw the conclusion that he just isn't the superstar he thought he was. Better for us to sell him in jan while last seasons efforts are still in peoples minds. Don't get me wrong i'd have loved him to smash it in the prem then as a said all the b######ks that goes with him would be acepted but it seems right now he just weakens us to much when he plays and if were gonna stay up we need everybody pulling together somthing im afraid a player who when dropped or playing well tells anyone who will listen how he must get away and how he's too good for us
Would be stupid to sell him, just wait, as soon as we sell him i bet he becomes the new neymar/,messi/c.ronaldo/hazard etc
Take a look at what Messi does, week in week out, if Adel could do half of that he'd be untouchable in our team, it just won't happen because he doesn't have the self-discipline or work ethic that's needed to suceed at that level...
Weird if he goes to PSG though...just proves he would rather be a big fish in a small pond. All the pubs and bars in Paris either play the Serie A, or mainly the Premiership...very little French football. However, if he does go to PSG, it's only 45 minutes on the train, so I'll enjoy popping over to watch him from time to time. It'll be interesting to see how he fairs in Ligue 1.
I can understand people wanting him to go due to his poor attitude and the disruption that brings to the team. But I really don't understand why people want rid after a couple of poor performances. I trust Neil to decide whether it's more detrimental to the team to keep him than to sell him. I think he will only do this if the money is right. 'There's no 'I' in team. But there are five I's in Individual Brilliance'.
I said during the summer that I hoped he would be sold then to PSG and my position hasn't changed. In fact I'm convinced now more than ever. Can't cut it; Won't cut it. Time to get rid.
Does anyone know whether he played for Morocco this week? They lost 1-0 to Uganda and are playing Cameroon this evening...
