Good afternoon all. We have weeks of this before the season starts. My view is, if we want some of the better players to stay (I refrain from using the word “best” after that shambles of a season), I mean Adams, Gnonto, Wober we need to show them we’re serious about promotion first time around. I’m hearing big Ange at Celtic has got the Tottenham job, they are waiting till after the Scottish Cup final before announcing it, so I would go out and get Brendan Rogers, I believe he is the calibre of coach that players will be happy to play for and I do think he will believe we are a big enough club he can build back up.

It's quite the question to answer to be fair. My most often used cliche about football is that winning and losing is a habit. What that really means is confidence gets you momentum in a season. Look at Villa, they are **** but they scrounged a couple of narrow wins which bred confidence and they started to play better which got them more wins and they kept it going.

We were the opposite. Started brightly, the new signings looked good, got points on the board then just hit a brick wall of results.

Lost at Brighton. Llorente missed a great chance to equalise with a free header last minute.

Drew with Everton at home when we were the better side. Llorente mistake gave Everton the lead and they ****housed their way through the game after.

Beaten heavily at Brentford despite it being a pretty even game (they had Toney, we had Bamford).

Drew with Villa with 10 men. Sinisterra now suspended.

Lost 2-1 at Palace after dominating the 1st half. Defensive errors on set pieces, Bamford missing 1v1 at the other end.

Battered Arsenal but lost 0-1 at ER. Bamford missed a pen.

These games are games we had chances to win but took nothing. All of a sudden, the strikers are under pressure to score their next big chance. The defenders are terrified of making another mistake so play nervously. The manager starts tinkering with the squad. That simple 10 yard pass feels like 40 yards and all of a sudden you throw in the worst performance of the season at Leicester who are bottom of the table. That just adds to it and your spiralling out of control down the league.

Then you get a couple of lucky wins, play superbly at Spurs and you're away again and we stop for the world cup.

It just wasn't our season. We needed better luck. We needed defenders to man up. Strikers to get a grip. We got nothing and we're down.

That would make sense for the club because remember 49ers already own 44% of the club so would need to hand over £67m to buy most of Radz 56% to put them in charge

You got it bud. Even at Leicester… where we were gash… we were 2-0 down when they only had 1 shot.

Spot on re Villa - they played well at home under Gerard (really poor away from home) but couldn’t buy a result. They were terrible to begin with under emery - we absolutely battered them at theirs and lost.

The psychology and confidence element in team sports, especially high chance/low scoring ones like football - is one of those hard to explain things… How it can ripple through an entire team. But it’s there alright.

You Watch your strikers miss sitters, your defenders fckup, your keeper let a soft one in… and you’re just thinking.. here we go again. Same on the pitch as it is in the stands.

    So it's Bamfords fault then.

False promises change is needed, key appointments and the constant use of the word “We” I think he’s selling up

So do I. Reference to change of direction, just think this is, we changed the club and can hand it on in a better state despite relegation.

Deffo selling up to the 49ers but sounds like he will still have circa £20m worth of shares. The £67m number mentioned earlier is around £20m short of Radz 56% shareholding. So sounds like 49ers will become majority owners and Radz a minority as he becomes majority owner of Sampdoria. Could be wrong of course but sounds to me like he will not be the owner of Leeds Utd

Could be he wants to realise the profit he would have made if we had stayed up, so having a % of shares and gambling on promotion his % value increases substantially. It could also be 49ers said ok we will buy at x price but we want you to put in £20m to cover the debts on some of the players you bought. It could be that Radz refused to sell the whole club and the £20m is the ownership of ER. Lots of mouthpieces said he needed to sell the club before buying Sampdoria but forget he sold 11Sports for a shy load of cash late last year and he has plenty of mates who own or part own football clubs around the world like QSI. So in other words mate ….

Would solve his dilemma regarding going straight back up. Leave £20m in as minority owner and if we get promoted he’s tripled his money without spending anything. Seems the ideal compromise to me but who knows
