:emoticon-0102-bigsm Don Felder was accused of copying the chord progression from "We used to know". Although both bands said it was rubbish, it does sound very similar Snaggey
Edit: getting mixed up in my dotage Snaggey, I've changed it now <doh>

Jethro Tull right up there with Fleetwood Mac and Zep in the beginning , sadly Anderson turned himself into a laughing stock, deliberately or otherwise and wrecked the band imo. Never mind, it only goes to show you never can tell, last night I was trawling on U-tube as I often do and then just left it running on random and came across this not everyones cup of tea or mine tbh., but what a performance this is,

If you can get hold of the DVD "The History of the Eagles" it's well worth a watch

It certainly is, as is the one about the Dooby Bros. who I had completely wrong at the time, but what an era that was, often wonder what it would have been like if technology like U-tube had been around in those days, or even earlier, its hard to say.

Saw these at the Locarno way back, and once read somewhere that Viv Stanshall had lived for a while in a submarine in the South Dock, I don't know how true that was but would not be surprised.

Most probably they were all booked once or twice by Doc to play in both Sunderland and later in Newcastle, great music scene in those days, live music everywhere and at affordable prices. Led Zep at the Mayfair was probably my all time favourite but there were quite a few ran it close, optimism all the way, thought it would never end. <laugh>
