Somehow, Wednesday have made the final. Lost 4-0 in first leg. Tonight they got 4 goals back - the 4th being in the 8th minute of injury time (only 6 were given). Both sides got a goal in extra time and finished 5-5 on aggregate. Wednesday won on penalties.

I thought that Tom Lockyer had been injured in Luton's playoff final but reading the weekend papers now visiting family have gone home it said he collapsed running back to defend, Best wishes to Tom and a speedy recovery. Also reported on Bristol Live

Sheff Wed beat Barnsley scoring in the 3rd minute of added time after extra time. 123rd minute!

Barnsley were down to 10 men after 49 mins.

All 24 teams are now known.

Looking forward to next season now. We've got a decent chance if we can get some quality additions to give us that bit of depth and quality.

    All easy peasy!

I suppose we have to play them all at some point. The only thing that worries me is that pre season training starts very soon and we haven’t signed anyone. We need centre backs, wingers, a keeper and a striker.

We need the 2023-24 squad to gel quickly if we’re to avoid a slow start and early season struggles. Therefore we need the powers that be to start getting active in the market asap.

Also, has anyone heard a dicky bird from our manager? This must be the longest period on record that he hasn’t spoken to the press!
