    I had the play offs on for about 15 minutes last night. Probably the worst 15 minutes of “football” (loose term) I’ve ever watched!

    Today's game has got to be better than yesterday's hoof ball that was the first half...the whole game reflected very badly on the Championship imo.

    If we'd have managed to get through that 2nd leg against Luton theres no doubt we'd be playing Premiership football next season. Wed have had Ballard and Cirkin back.
    I just hope we do next season what we did the year Charlton beat us in the final and go into the following season absolutely destroying teams and taking our frustration out on them.

    For me we were the best team in that play off group, injury crippled us as it has done all season in key areas, highlighted by that back four we had to play against Luton, even then we had them on the ropes last 15 minutes of the home tie, but missed our chance, due to poor substitutions left too late imo, nonetheless Tony has done a magnificent job and should be retained for another season, and all being well we will do it next season and hopefully without a visit to Wembley .

    Well done Carlisle. Always had a liking for them after my mate went on trials there in the seventies. He didn't make it but he always said how well they looked after him.
