The only thing for us is that if we do take the drop at the end of the season is that we will have probably gained the lowest points in the history of the premier league and that means we`l be a laughing a stock. God the embarassment of it. I can see it know i won`t leave the house for a mounth.

FTS you boys really need to start giving him some stick around the dug out, or at least tell him to get a defensive coach in, as he's bloody stubborn, and doesn't have a clue how to defend, or hold on to a lead, your far too easy to score against! start getting draws, and the wins will come..............

It's funny how the teams all mentioned for the drop all have ex Swans playing for them now...with Wigan you have Gomez and of course Martinez himself...then we have Pratley with Bolton...and the best laugh of all must be DeVries at Wolves who hasn't had a game yet and now we have Vorm we would NEVER ever have him back...more fool them.....at least Britton had the good sense to see the errors of his way and came back as soon as....it seems like they never learn from all the ones who left Swansea to enhance their careers and yet ended up going the other way...at least Scotland is enjoying Ipswich...ha...oh and Trundle...how's Neath coming along???

I sort of agree Napoli , but there was a world of difference with Scotland leaving, he went to a higher league, we got paid a rather large amount of money for a 31 year old, and it's every footballers dream to play in the premier league, IMO it was his one chance even if it didn't work out for him.

Bit unfair Napoli. As much as it hurts us when some of our players leave, you can understand them going to a higher level & maybe to some degree, chasing the money!! There's also maybe 'personal-issues', Leon with Sousa & Pratley 'his sense of worth' he 'didn't feel' from the club. Martinez is part of the whole process we are where we are now, but his leaving now seems to be a 'blessing'!! So sometimes things work out for the better!! Gomez was never our player anyway & Lee, well I always feel a little dissapointed for him. He went to Bristol for what he felt was his 'big' chance, but it never happened for him, no-one knows more than himself what a mistake that probably was, so I feel regret for him. Scotland top striker for us, again, never worked out for him...

De-Vries, well I'm not so sympathetic!! Cash ok, but we all knew he'd be warming the bench. I know money talks, but how can you be prepared to take a chance on not playing regular 1st team football in the premier league with Wolves, instead of guaranteed with us??!!

The up-side!! Super keeper, super keeper...........

Well I for one wouldn't be encouraging Wigan supporters (not because of any dislike),to tell Martinez where he's going wrong I'd like to see two others sides staying where they, well below. I'm not fussed on who though as long as it's not us

The thing is when the swans were in the championship you had such players as jason scotland who was great for you when Martinez was your manager but when he and martinez came to the DW it all went wrong.Scotland moved on and Martinez is well we all know what martinez is doing so its got to be the style of play he think is right.

I don`t minde being beat fair and square BUT when you have an incompetent ref who as not got a clue about the rules of the game its something you can`t beat or live with and the heads go down.

Have to say, what the hell was the ref thinking of. Anybody could see when the ball was placed down and Yakubu ran past, that the ball didn't move. I always thought that the ball had to travel through one full rotation? might be wrong not 100%.

Hi DragonPhilljack the word in the newspapers and on other media is that uncle dave whelan is thinking of stepping a side in favour of is 21 year old grandson who whelan says is a big fan of the latics but he would be would`nt he. but the real reason for the side step i think is to give Bobby Martinez the chop finaly as whelan can`t do this his self or the guts to do it his self There maybe light at the end of football tunnel

I read somewhere (possibly here, in fairness) that if Whelan goes Martinez would go at the same time, and I'd say that seems likely. Either way, they need to at least be looking at contingency options.
