FFS, Lando. And then to really take the biscuit Oscar fails to edge him out and stays P11.

Meanwhile Lance Stroll qualifying the clear second best car on the grid to a mighty P14. Out of his depth.

 

Shame for McLaren as Lando was threatening a good result.

Stroll out in Q2 again. Aston Martin are being held back so much by needing to carry daddy's boy. Might cost them P2 in the WCC

 

Might get worse for Stroll if he picks up a weighbridge penalty too.

Hamilton squeaking through at the end of Q1 and Q2.

 

To be fair to Stroll in regard to missing the weighbridge, that light was very late.

 

Alonso fastest, lets have a bunch of yellow flags now pls.

 

Well done the McLaren engineers, thought Lando was going to miss Q3.

Alonso was slow through the final sector, lost .1 to LeClerc, knew Max had it.

 

Saw that one coming a mile off. Alonso doesn't seem to have much pace in sector 3.

Lost a tenth to Leclerc and Max overcame a 2 tenth deficit on the first runs as well

LeCurse gets a three place grid drop for impeding Lando.

 

I think it was deserved but only if his team didn't tell him Lando was on his hot lap. I'm not sure how good the radio reception is in the tunnel?
He did imped Lando but could it have been avoided, I'm not that sure, Ferrari should have told Charles Land was on his hot lap before the tunnel. I doubt a driver would go off line unless they have to to avoid the marbles.
