Spot on. Lampard is at best as it stands a Championship manager. He may need to go abroad. I can't see him sat in a studio talking ****e with the rest of them.
The bloke could still be a top manager in time however he needs to start at a lower level, doesn't matter how good a footballer he was. It's extremely rare to be able to just manage at the top level with very little experience.
Yes good player doesn’t = good manager . Bobby Moore and Bobby Charlton were canny players , but both gave up manager after one try , and that was with lower teams
It’s a win win to be fair, if Coventry do the double, brilliant, if the mags do the double, brilliant
Either will find it incredibly difficult and I suspect will be straight back down possibly with a record low points total.
Same here, maybe Luton to watch them get smashed and embarrassed by their crappy ground (wouldn't it be funny if they were told they can't play there in the premier league because it's not up to standard so have to ground share with MK Dons?). I'd hate to see Coventry benefit from EPL cash after the way their lot behaved up here
Both bang average teams and an indication of how poor the championship was this season IMO. Coventry genuinely have Hamer and Gyokores and that’s it. Sit back and absorb the pressure then hope they can break. If Gyokores has a bad game they don’t get the result. Luton just a route A physical team and good at what they do. Gutted for Lockyer going off like that though been great this season and brilliant in both legs against us. Praised our style of play and only had good words for us after the semi at their place.
Good goal but shocking defending from Coventry! I would like Luton to go up, would love to see the top sides going to their ground. Plus Coventry will lose Gyokores in the summer if they dont go up so will be weaker
