Morning mate. The waiting in the wings investor is a separate beast to whatever has happened with SD percentage as I understand it? All depends on what happens with JS in the summer and he's want away plans.

Not privy to specifics, but we're a very attractive club with several investors hanging about, some were leauge depending, some aren't. As @Magnus said , big summer ahead with ins and outs in every corner of the club.

What a beautiful day to be a Sunderland supporter. Roll on next season I can see this team doing what reidys team did in 98/99 season. Also well done Bob mate.

Big credibility bump for KLD now that he is no longer Stewart Donald's business partner.

i always thought KLD was quite happy to play the waiting game with this.

guess there are many reasons this could have happened but me being the person i am have decided it means that the spending the club will be doing now just simply priced SD out of the reckoning and he realised thre funds would be better use on his new venture...and that KLD has splendid plans afoot.

Remember I knew these before they came here, SD wanted to do well here, he just ran out of money.
Juan was supposed to bank role the running of the club.
But changed his mind when CM introduced KLD to SD.
If folks want to believe this or not, I ain't bothered, once Ellis fukked the Germans off, there was NO one else to offer what they did.
Ellis got all his money for the club.
Juan paid a bit towards it.
This crap about the parachute payment being used is utter bollocks.
No matter what's posted on here or on RTG that's the way it happened.
KLD is now not taking on the Yank investor, its his and Juan 's from now on.

As long as they are all in a positive direction no one can complain. We've all wanted these two leech's out of the Club for the past three years so good news I'd say.

Very much the case this. Looking back it's hard to believe how bad it was, and how bad they were.

But as supporters, we just go and shout and hope. Even under Parkinson, thinking we could somehow go up and get better.

Bloody night and day. Much work to be done and being done by the sounds of it. As that lot up there mistakenly say, but in our case it's true, " We've got our club back".

Feels like a weight has been lifted hearing this news,I know when KLD came on board a lot we’re thinking oh my lord what now but I for one and I think many many others are pleased he did saved us from the brink and gave us a club to be proud of once again onward and upward long may it continue COME ON

Everyone wants to " do well". He knew he didn't have the cash, and sold assets for peanuts. He went missing at the club's worst time. He tried to sell before the end of the first season, even taking some chancer to Wembley.

If any club is well rid of anyone it is us being rid of him. He was on the make, hoping to flip it and play the successful owner .

In God's name, his behaviour over Grigg alone should have him permanently excluded from football ownership.
