It's no surprise English managers find it difficult to find, and keep, jobs with the top clubs. Lampard had every advantage possible and may well be brilliant in his methods, coaching and understanding of the game ... ... but seems incapable of inspiring players or improving them. Lampard was supposed to be the brightest young prospect, as a manager, but may well already be approaching punditry. That would put him alongside the likes of Wright, Shearer, etc, who are experts at criticising actual managers while being incapable of doing a decent job themselves.
Wigan starting next season in League One on -8 points and still not out of woods Bit worried about them you know. Although their fans were dicks when we pointed out 10k p/w for Wyke in League One was a bad idea.
Looking forward to the PL games on Sunday ... ....I hope its a real sqirmathon with Everton going down in injury time.
I have a bit of a game planned with my football WhatsApp group so I'm hoping it goes down to the wire ... ... if Everton went 2-0 up early on that would spoil it. Although they could always do a Millwall
**** em! Wigan have been dicks quite a few times over the years. Wyke signed for them cause they were a better team of I remember and they loved rubbing our noses in it! While we all shrugged our shoulders as Stewart had shown enough to show he was by far the better option. I mean I must admit if we signed a teams top scorer and the fans insisted they weren't arsed I'd think they were chatting ****, so can't blame them there!
Yep. 4th minute of injury time, Everton 0-0, Leicester 0-0. 5th minute, Everton 0-1, Leicester 1-0. I can dream, can't I????
My thoughts exactly. Some people might say 'Shame for the supporters, it's them that suffer'. So what, they didn't have much sympathy for our problems when they thought their club was superior and didn't hesitate to tell us. I appreciate some will say that they have a Wigan mate and he's a great lad ... ... couldn't care less tbh, I don't know your mate and I might hate him if we ever met. There are decent supporters at every club, doesn't mean I have to like them.
Aye, should be a canny day. I’ve enjoyed the PL this year, apart from the Mags doing well. I hope Leeds come down.
my sentiments exactly. Cause nothing be chew, took covid off, came back fresh while everyone else played on, got their new owner then spent more money they didn't have. Bit like Coventry, pains in the arse. hope they get beat tomorrow.
Looking forward to the silent movie, Coventry v Luton 4.45 tomorrow, one of them has to loose, extra bonus shots, the losers end at the final whistle.
Am I right in thinking Mike Ashley has something to do with Coventry now? If so I hope they go up and do the double over the mags. Imagine the melt down
