I don't think it's this one who has taken the extra though. There was talk of KLD continuing to up his %. So I would imagine if Donald leaving has happened ahead of schedule it will be KLD who has taken the bigger slice and this was the forecast initially.
Sunderland AFC today announces that Kyril Louis-Dreyfus has increased his shareholding in the Club. Mr Louis-Dreyfus has increased his stake to 64%, with Juan Sartori increasing his stake to 36%. The shares have been acquired through the purchase of shares previously held by Stewart Donald, who has now exited the Club’s shareholder group entirely. SAFC’s Board of Directors remains unchanged.
Not for one second claiming it was a “good” guess but nice to see I was right about them two sharing the purchase of Donald’s shares and not somebody new. Im happy with these two and anyone new muddies the waters. I know people say sartori does nowt but better the devil you know… the exciting thing now is that this means they’re no longer reliant on Donald matching any capital investment into the club at 9%
