Jose Mourinho has stabbed Tottenham in the back by saying "Only club I've managed I don't have deep for is Tottenham"

Yeah, my son is on the spectrum which is how I got involved... That's why it stood out to me... Why are all these kids so nice, friendly, and polite compared to mine.... <laugh>

Actually, in hindsight, these kids were mostly from privileged backgrounds and had at least one parent able to not work and stay home focusing on their problems. I think with autism takes a lot of one on one care to get the best out of them. Something most kids with autism don't have the most access to.

Matth would be considered high functioning. He can talk and he can hold down a job.

Talking is not high functioning lol.

I'm talking kids who are high ability as a result of their ASD.

Also need to remember Aspergers is slightly different. A large part of it being an unhealthy obsession with one particular theme. In Matth's case football and MUFC <laugh>

They don't use the term aspergers anymore for autism diagnosis. Not in the US anyway. Obsession with certain things is common across the entire spectrum, part of inability to think flexibly. (Not that they can't be brilliant thinkers... Just they follow rigid patterns of thought and don't adapt well to change or new thought patterns).

One thing I learnt with autism is that part of the reason so many high functioning autism patients are extra nice is because they have difficulty in reading others emotions and interest. They're smart enough to know they're not normal and so they over compensate.

I'm not a psychiatrist obviously, but Matth is far from severe autism. At the extreme end you have people like my nephew who can't speak (at 18) and still wears nappies. Then you have people who can't speak a sentence without it being obvious something isnt quite typical.

Then above that you have people like Matth, who seem a little "odd" but can hold a job, and it's not immediately obvious what is up with them. They're relatively high functioning...

he was clearly on some form of training for people with extra needs as he would have been sacked for sodding off home in a huff regularly .
Schemes like tis can be thru the LA , DWP or charities and the "employer" use them as cheap labour though presumably paying them .
I don't actually know this but it fits with the things he was saying at the time .

toney placed 13 bets on his own team to lose.

this is much more serious now and punishment now looks extremely weak.

claims to be an addict to avoid match fixingscandal

Should never play again IMO for that... Even if not by penalty, no team should ever sign him after that.

I don't understand how that could be used as mitigation at all - there are innumerable things you can gamble on that you have no influence over.

Think the only thing that as saved Toney is that he hasn’t bet on his team to lose while playing - was always not in the squad

Otherwise I think they’d be hammering him for match fixing and he be getting a lifetime ban, if not then at least a good couple of years.

You're right it's not match fixing but betting on your own team to lose is terrible whether he was playing or not. I wonder what his teammates think about that. Noticed that his fine is a lot less than Klopp's as well.

Thanks Roy. Firstly, congratulations on an excellent season for your club. You and Brighton have been the most improved teams in the Prem this year. I don’t include Arsenal as they did not have the bottle to last the pace. The Champions League will throw up some interesting games but challenges as well. It will be interesting to see how your supporters react if Howe hits a bad spell, you are not the most forgiving of supporters when it comes to managers.
We have enough problems of our own and need to get the recruitment right for next season. Anyway, good luck with the Champions League and keep our place warm for us when we get back to the Champions League at the end of next season
