One of the most sexiest women in the music business and in her 60s as well. She had been unwell for quite a while but a great artist in her day. RIP

What a voice she had, made up for her dancing.

    R.I.P. Tina, another legend gone.

RIP Tina. I just had Spotify on while I was doing a few jobs and "It's only love" came on.

:emoticon-0159-music South Cleveland Garages... Clearly brilliant advertising as this came to mind as soon as I saw the thread title.

    RIP. A very talented woman.

In the early ‘80’s the band I was playing in were booked as Tina’s backing band for a tour.
Shortly before the tour she had a huge comeback and then got much bigger venues resulting in her getting a much bigger band with some top musicians and dancers which meant that our gig as her band was cancelled.
One night when we were playing in Hamburg (in the Reeperbahn) she was also playing there at the CCH (big hall) and we all went backstage and met Tina and the band.
Just before the start we went to our seats but had to get to them via the stage. When we came from the backstage the audience thought we were her band and the whole place started cheering and clapping. I remember waving back at them.

After her concert we went to play at our gig and her band came to watch us although Tina didn’t come as she was knackered after her show. She’s quite small.

Was the first "big star" we saw live in concert at Gateshead stadium in 1990 - great night, followed by our first visit to Disney World a couple of weeks later.
